The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner lands with a thumping leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wagner was well out of range. Poor timing from Rivera.
Oh Rivera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rivera dives in and grabs Wagner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wagner pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out.

Wagner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Rivera throws a head kick but Wagner moves out of range.
Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Wagner counters with a left and a right... And another left! Rivera is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
