Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joonas Mustonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson Pearson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustonen takes a swing at Pearson's ribcage but misses.

Pearson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mustonen sprawls well. Mustonen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pearson gets slowly back to his feet.

Mustonen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pearson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mustonen tries to avoid it but Pearson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mustonen to the ground. Mustonen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pearson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pearson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mustonen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pearson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pearson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pearson!

Pearson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pearson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pearson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Pearson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mustonen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pearson has knee on belly momentarily but Mustonen bucks him off and regains half guard.
