The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Second darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Humphrey turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
You can see the frustration on Second's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Second is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Humphrey has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Second lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Second.

Humphrey shoots and misses
and Second cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Second punishes Humphrey's body with a nice straight punch.
Second paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Second stalks Humphrey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Humphrey's face. Humphrey staggers backwards, shaken.

Humphrey is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Second.
Second cracks a nice hook into Humphrey's ribs.
Humphrey looks gassed!
Humphrey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Second tries to free his leg and advance position but Humphrey is retaining full guard.

Second lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Humphrey manages to get to full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Humphrey fails with the takedown
and Second connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Humphrey tries for a takedown but Second sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Second stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Second wants it to stay on the feet.
Jims Second has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Humphrey.
Second cracks Humphrey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Humphrey has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Humphrey there as he acknowledges the shot.

Second lands a big uppercut and Humphrey crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Humphrey looks OK. Second waves Humphrey back to his feet!

Humphrey is rocked!
Second ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Humphrey is still on wobbly legs! Can Second finish him?

Second plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Humphrey swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Humphrey face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
