Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Mifsud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trajan Argyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Argyle has chosen Go to Sleep as his entrance music. Trajan Argyle acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Argyle misses with a hook to the body
letting Mifsud counter with a right hand.

Mifsud throws a head kick but Argyle moves out of range.
Mifsud feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Argyles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Argyle misses with a looping right.
Mifsud's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Argyle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mifsud scrambles back to his feet.
Mifsud throws a hook but Argyle avoids it easily.
Argyle avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Mifsud stuffs the takedown.
Argyle misses with a takedown attempt - Mifsud sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mifsud tries to score with a low kick but Argyle moves his leg out of the way.
Mifsud motions for Argyle to come forward. Mifsud throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Mifsud looks to land a body kick but Argyle moved away.
A cross from Mifsud lands.

Argyle manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mifsud on his heels. He'll look to pass Mifsud's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Argyle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mifsud swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Argyle passes into half guard.
Well, if Argyle is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mifsud wants to get back to his feet.

Argyle is looking for a kimura but Mifsud is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Argyle to get the leverage.

Mifsud is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Argyle pulls his head out easily.

Argyle wants to pass the guard but Mifsud is defending well.

Mifsud is defending against the submission attempts here by Argyle.

Argyle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mifsud defends it well.

Argyle is trying to control. Mifsud wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mifsud is refusing to be controlled, as Argyle sits in half guard.

Argyle is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Argyle is pressing down on Mifsud's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mifsud is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mifsud is staying active underneath Argyle, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Argyle prevents Mifsud from standing back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Argyle is just content to waste time from the top position. Mifsud takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Argyle stands and throws Mifsud's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mifsud kicks off Argyle and gets to his feet.
Mifsud throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mifsud fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Argyle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Argyle throws a looping overhand right but Mifsud ducks down to avoid it.
Mifsud moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Argyle blocks the body kick.
Mifsud connects with a leg kick. Argyle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Argyle on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mifsud throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Argyle on the side of the head.
Argyle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trajan Argyle will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mifsud pivots, looking for a leg kick but Argyle is out of range and Mifsud settles back down.
Argyle takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mifsud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Argyle shoots for a double leg takedown but Mifsud sprawls well. He's pushed Argyle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mifsud misses with a body kick.
Argyle shoots in for a takedown but Mifsud shows good takedown defense.
Mifsud explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Argyle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mifsud as he avoids it easily.
Michael Mifsud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trajan Argyle.
Argyle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mifsud lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mifsud just misses with a punch to the body.

A chopping leg kick lands by Mifsud.
Mifsud drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Argyle's head, knocking him out cold! Mifsud is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
