Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kay Olubiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olubiy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. hitman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kay Olubiy acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benoit stalks Olubiy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Olubiy's face. Olubiy staggers backwards, shaken.
Benoit misses with a few strikes there.
Benoit throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Olubiy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Benoit counter with a right hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Benoit wants to hold on but Olubiy pushes him away.

Benoit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Olubiy on the ground.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Sean Benoit will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Olubiy misses with a takedown attempt - Benoit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Benoit looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
