Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Okabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotten kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is White Zombie - More Human Than Human. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Rotten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenji Okabe!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okabe misses with a body shot.
Rotten takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rotten fails to land with a series of punches.
Okabe swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Okabe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Okabe is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rotten lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Okabe misses with a hook.
Okabe defending well as Rotten loads up on a big left hand.
Okabe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Okabe swings for the body but Rotten moves out of range.
Okabe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rotten.
Rotten shoots for a double leg takedown but Okabe sprawls well. He's pushed Rotten's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Okabe lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Okabe.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rotten.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rotten just misses with a elbow thrown towards Okabe's brow.
Okabe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rotten pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rotten doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rotten throws a poor cross that misses
and Okabe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rotten missing with a left hand there. Okabe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rotten throws a lazy right hand but Okabe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Okabe throws out a loose jab but Rotten uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rotten is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

The fighters circling - Okabe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rotten takes one to the side of the head.
Okabe just misses with a punch to the body.
Rotten thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rotten tries a head kick but it misses.

and Okabe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Rotten. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Rotten counters with a left and a right that stings Okabe.
Rotten closes the distance and clinches up with Okabe, looking for a takedown. Rotten pushes Okabe against the cage but Okabe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Okabe counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rotten thinking.

Rotten takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Okabe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Okabe scores with a nice strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Rotten will probably get the nod.

Okabe throws a hook to the side of Rotten's head but Rotten sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Okabe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rotten.
Okabe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rotten stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Okabe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kenji Okabe has got the better of the ground game so far.

Okabe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
