Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nova Uniao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nova Uniao enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Uniao finds it's way through Lee's defenses.
Crunch! Lee slams his shin into Uniao's torso.
Uniao fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lee checks it well.
Uniao misses with a low kick.
Lee throws a leg kick that misses.
Lee throws a push kick but Uniao slaps the foot to one side.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Uniao.
Uniao jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lee lands with a right to the head.

Uniao wants to take the fight to the mat but Lee manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Uniao drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Uniao off! Uniao jumps back into Lee's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Uniao controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Uniao wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

That was a close round but I would say that Cody Lee will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Uniao is looking to chop away at Lee's legs.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Uniao checks a leg kick.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uniao.
Uniao has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lee.

Uniao takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cody Lee is winning the standup battle so far.
Lee misses with a hook. Uniao ducked under it nicely.

Lee looks to land a body kick but Uniao moved away.
Lee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Uniao.

Lee throws a leg kick but Uniao sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Lee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Uniao connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lee. Lee circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Uniao manages to avoid it.

Uniao walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Uniao shoots in and gets a takedown into Lee's guard.
Lee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Uniao is working for takedown but Lee is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cody Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nova Uniao.

Lee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Uniao changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Uniao is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Uniao is stalling here. Lee is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Uniao seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lee has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee tries to hold on but Uniao pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uniao tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lee bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Lee connects with a couple of short punches.
Uniao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Uniao is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Uniao wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position.

Uniao looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Uniao is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Uniao is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Uniao seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that's the end of the fight!
Nova Uniao comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
