Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hastings fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hastings and sends Brown crashing to the mat! Hastings follows him down to the mat - Brown regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Brown is rocked!
Brown is looking to control Hastings's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brown avoid being mounted?
Oh Brown is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hastings wants to stand up but Brown has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Hastings wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hastings is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hastings has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brown is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hastings stands up and waves to Brown to follow him.
Hastings rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hastings throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Trevor Hastings is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hastings ducks under a wild hook from Brown.
Brown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hastings steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brown.
Brown throws a push kick but Hastings slaps the foot to one side.
Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hastings.
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Hastings sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hastings wants to get back to his feet but Brown is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hastings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hastings throws a combination. Brown tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Brown feints and as Hastings raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hastings is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brown is controlling him.
Brown wants to control from the top but Hastings keeps moving.

Brown drops back looking for a leg! Hastings is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hastings manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Hastings's guard.
Brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Hastings has wrist control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Trevor Hastings will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hastings avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hastings displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab.
Brown takes a jab right on the kisser.

Hastings throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hastings feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brown's calf.

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hastings, who protects the arm well.
Brown tries to score with some ground and pound. Hastings controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Hastings is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Brown locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Hastings is forced to tap!
