Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karl Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Robb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson tries to clinch but Robb is having none of it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Robb shoots for a takedown but Patterson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Patterson shoots in looking for a takedown. Robb tries to sprawl out of it but Patterson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robb manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Patterson shoots for a double leg takedown but Robb sprawls well. He's pushed Patterson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well Robb has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
