Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kj Barakus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by lunatic fringe. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Kj Barakus has been cut.
Johnson misses with the combination.
Barakus shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Barakus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barakus looks gassed!
Johnson tries to land a front kick but Barakus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Barakus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Michael Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kj Barakus.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barakus doesn't seem phased though.

Barakus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Barakus is trying desperately to land a takedown but Johnson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Barakus.

Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barakus tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away.
Johnson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Johnson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Barakus is looking to close the distance but Johnson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Barakus crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Barakus is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Michael Johnson took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'PAYBACKS A ..... well you know the rest. I just wanted to make up for his boring win over me and i wanted to make it up to the FANS... i hope you all enjoyed the fight, AND ESPECIALLY WNNNA THANK CORNELL for all its done for me and my family. Ive had 9 fights here and look forward to many more.. GOO'.
