And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilhelmy misses with a kick to the body.
Wilhelmy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pipes's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Pipes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilhelmy manages to get himself to full guard.

Wilhelmy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pipes is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wilhelmy.
Wilhelmy tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Pipes working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Wilhelmy is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Pipes has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Wilhelmy taps out!
