Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Almaz Anzor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Awesome Dave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Awesome Dave!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anzor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dave.
Dave throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Anzor was covering up waiting for the punch and Dave finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Anzor can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dave controls the pace.
Dave really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anzor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dave has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Anzor to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dave is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Anzor pulls down on the head and he's put Dave to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Almaz Anzor!
