Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between ryan prevost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam White is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, ryan prevost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam White!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a looping left.
White wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

White throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as prevost stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. White follows into mount!


prevost is rocked!


It looks like ryan prevost has been cut.
White has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of prevost's face.
Oh prevost is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
White misses with a head shot.
White punching from mount but prevost doing a good job of avoiding damage.
prevost is looking to improve his position but White isn't that keen on the idea.

White looking to secure an arm triangle but prevost defends it well.
White misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
prevost seems to have got his legs back now.
White avoids the attempt from prevost to control.
prevost is looking to get to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

prevost is working hard here to advance position.

White stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
prevost blocks a head kick by White.
Adam White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
prevost staying out of range there.
White waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract prevost.
White misses with a straight right.
White throws a sloppy head kick and prevost moves out of range easily.
prevost will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
White throws a series of punches but prevost moves out of range.
White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
prevost slips under a jab from White.
prevost misses with a wild combination.

prevost closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming White to the mat! White manages to get full guard.
prevost is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
White is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

White stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
White looks gassed!
White swings for the body but prevost moves out of range.
Adam White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White throws a right hand that prevost ducks under and follows up with a left that prevost also avoids with ease.
White tries a head kick but it misses.
White misses with a head kick.
prevost slow jab from White misses its intended target.
White misses with a straight left.
prevost jabbing away but nothing is landing.

prevost shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than prevost was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
White's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
prevost trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

prevost looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
prevost pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
prevost looking to control and managing it successfully.
prevost looking to control but White is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

prevost has isolated one of White's arms. White looking to fight him off but prevost twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
