Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Furzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Furzon clinches.
Furzon misses with a punch to the body.

Furzon breaks from the clinch.

Norris clinches with his opponent.
Furzon manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Norris misses with a punch on the inside.
Norris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Furzon walks away with a smile on his face. Norris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Norris gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Furzon.
Norris is looking for a takedown.
Norris tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Furzon smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Norris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Furzon doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Norris counters by moving into the clinch.

Furzon jumps guard.
Norris trying to control the position from guard on top but Furzon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Furzon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Norris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Furzon trying to keep a closed guard but Norris is proving a slippery customer.
Norris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Chuck Norris has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Norris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A punch combination from Norris misses.

Furzon shoots in looking for a takedown but Norris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Furzon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Norris misses with a jab, cross combination.
Furzon tries to clinch up.
Furzon stuffs the takedown attempt from Norris. Norris gets slowly back to his feet.
Chuck Norris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Furzon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Furzon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Norris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Furzon sprawls well initially but Norris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Norris trying to control the action but Furzon is working from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Furzon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Norris stops Furzon from getting back to his feet.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Norris prevents Furzon from standing back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Chuck Norris just wasn't active enough.
Norris misses with a takedown

and Furzon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Norris is breathing heavily.
Furzon stopping the sweep attempt from Norris.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Norris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Furzon tries to free his leg and advance position but Norris is retaining full guard.
Norris is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Furzon is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Furzon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Furzon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Norris dives on top into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Frankie Furzon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Furzon has a takedown stuffed.
Norris tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Furzon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Norris looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Furzon!
Furzon is trying to reverse the position but instead Norris has taken his back - oops!
I really don't envy Furzon right now.
Norris is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Furzon has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Norris has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Furzon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Furzon is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Norris working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Furzon is doing well to defend. Norris seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Furzon is forced to tap and this one is over!
