The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans shoots in and bounces Win off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Win keeping full guard, as Evans tries to pass.
Evans passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Win trying to remain calm as Evans controls from the top position.

Evans stands up and beckons Win to his feet.
Evans avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Win gets caught napping as Evans dives in and scores a takedown. Win manages to retain guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Win swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Evans might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Evans's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Evans.
Win steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Evans. That one must have hurt.

Evans is working to tighten is grip on Win 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Win has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Evans is really squeezing tight and eventually Win passes out! Evans breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
