Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gibki Vlad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titanic Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hunt's choice of entrance music: Monkey Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt misses with the body kick

so Vlad counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Vlad throwing strikes from guard but Hunt blocks nicely.
Vlad missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Vlad throws a big right hand that misses.
Vlad scoring with punches to the head and body.
Vlad postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it.
Vlad throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hunt works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hunt has control of Vlad's left arm, preventing Vlad from doing any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vlad wants to pass the guard but Hunt is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunt wants to stand and escape but Vlad is having none of it.

Hunt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Vlad moves into full guard.
Hunt is looking to stand up but Vlad won't let him.
Hunt is fighting to break Vlad's control of his arms but Vlad is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vlad manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hunt manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gibki Vlad.
Hunt scores with a sloppy right hand. Vlad should have avoided that one.
Good leg kick by Hunt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Vlad dives in and grabs Hunt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes down on Vlad's head and hops out.
Titanic Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hunt misses with a looping right.
Vlad on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hunt jabs Vlad to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vlad misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hunt thuds his shin into the meat of Vlad's side.
Vlad is breathing heavily.

Hunt looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hunt tests Vlad's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sloppy strikes from Hunt. Those never looked like landing.
Hunt keeps the fight on the outside.

Vlad shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hunt throws a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Titanic Hunt will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A head kick misses from Hunt.
Hunt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Vlad shoots in but no luck this time.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Vlad closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hunt's guard.
Hunt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vlad drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hunt looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hunt looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hunt!

Hunt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vlad keeps working.
Vlad is trying to control Hunt's posture but Hunt avoids it.
Hunt wants to stand but Vlad is controlling his arm.
Vlad is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hunt's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Gibki Vlad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Vlad is looking for a sweep. Hunt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vlad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vlad wants to control but Hunt is keeping busy.
Vlad wants to improve his position but Hunt is controlling well.
Hunt tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Hunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Titanic Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Titanic Hunt seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hunt cracks Vlad with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vlad looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hunt finish him?
Hunt throws a shot from downtown. Vlad moves away and avoids it.

Vlad moves out of range of the leg kick from Hunt.

Titanic Hunt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vlad.
Vlad takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hunt throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Vlad tries for a takedown but Hunt circles away easily
and Hunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vlad looks for a takedown but Hunt sprawls well.

Vlad walks into a stiff left hand from Hunt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vlad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gibki Vlad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hunt throws out a powerful jab.
Vlad takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunt throws a hook to the side of Vlad's head but Vlad sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A jab from Hunt finds it's way through Vlad's defenses.
Hunt jabs Vlad to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Vlad drops his hands momentarily and Hunt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hunt cracks Vlad with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Vlad is rocked!
Hunt lands a head shot.
Oh Vlad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hunt gets a clinch.
Vlad seems to have got his legs back now.

Hunt manages to break the clinch.
Hunt looks to score with a jab to the body but Vlad is just out of range.
Titanic Hunt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Hunt connects with a high kick.
Good work by Vlad as he checks the leg kick.
Hunt lands with a shot to the body.
Hunt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A jab lands there for Hunt.
Vlad tries for a takedown but Hunt circles away easily
enabling Hunt to counter with a crisp jab.

Hunt sizes up Vlad with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Horrible takedown by Vlad or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunt which made him look bad.
