Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raive Manuel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Niko Bellic!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bellic.
Bellic throws a jab but it's blocked by Manuel.
Manuel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bellic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Manuel.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A telegraphed right hand from Bellic misses the target.
Manuel's corner calls for a 1-2. Manuel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Niko Bellic has been cut.
Bellic sizes up Manuel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bellic closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Raive Manuel has been cut.
Manuel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bellic's waist but Bellic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manuel off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raive Manuel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Manuel closes the distance and clinches up with Bellic, looking for a takedown. Manuel pushes Bellic against the cage but Bellic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bellic digs a good hook to Manuel's body.
Manuel is breathing heavily.
Manuel moves forwards but Bellic connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Manuel misses with a double jab
and Bellic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Manuel misses with a left hand
and Bellic counters with a nice right hand that sends Manuel toppling to the canvas! Manuel scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bellic finish him?!
Manuel is rocked!
Bellic circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Manuel to the canvas! Manuel doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Bellic keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Niko Bellic!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Niko Bellic waved his t-shirt featuring L.A. Elite Clothing Co's logo in front of the cameras.
