Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza has chosen i am #1 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Koch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leon Souza!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koch smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Koch has closed the distance and engaged Souza in a clinch.
Souza pulls guard effortlessly.
Koch is looking to stand up but Souza won't let him.
Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Souza is tightening it up a little... Koch has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Koch reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Koch taps out! Nice BJJ there by Souza!
