Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Overfield Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjay Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Overfield Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Need A Doctor. Murphy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 4 Minutes to Lockdown by Redman & Method Man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy avoids the head kick by Overfield Jr.
Overfield Jr misses with a looping right.
Overfield Jr falls off balance throwing a combination
and Murphy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Murphy.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Overfield Jr wants to sweep here but Murphy controlling him for the moment.
Murphy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Murphy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Murphy wants to pass the guard but Overfield Jr is keeping the position.
Murphy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Overfield Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murphy has managed to get both his arms back between Overfield Jr's legs - danger averted.
Overfield Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murphy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Overfield Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Overfield Jr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Overfield Jr cracks Murphy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murphy tries to lock up and control but Overfield Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Murphy is looking to improve his position but Overfield Jr isn't that keen on the idea.
Overfield Jr lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Murphy tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Murphy is desperately trying to improve his position but Overfield Jr has a good base and remains in mount.
