PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Schrute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alf Hooker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schrute comes into the arena with No Easy Way Out - Robert Tepper blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrute throws a lazy head kick
and Hooker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Schrute throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hooker tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Schrute is in Hooker's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hooker keeping moving, preventing Schrute from controlling successfully.
Schrute's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Hooker has his hands on Schrute's head, controlling the position.
Schrute prevents Hooker from getting back to his feet.
Schrute won't allow Hooker to sweep him here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Schrute blocks a head kick by Hooker.
Schrute throws a hook but Hooker avoids it easily.

Schrute shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schrute was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hooker is working to get back to half guard.
Schrute wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Schrute is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hooker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Schrute is landing with some decent strikes but Hooker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hooker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hooker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Schrute won't let Hooker get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Hooker tries to hold on but Schrute postures up.

Hooker is rocked!
Schrute postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hooker badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Schrute around the waist but Schrute pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Schrute is the winner by TKO! Schrute jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
