Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oswaldo Barra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Pinto misses.
Pinto is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barra.
Barra uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pinto.
Barra tries to clinch up but Pinto circles away and keeps his distance.
Pinto jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pinto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Barra controls Pinto momentarily but Pinto frees himself.

Barra has his foot on Pinto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pinto works his way back into a safe position though.

Pinto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pinto has managed to get both his arms back between Barra's legs - danger averted.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
