Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaki Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tipi Savea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi scores with a kick to the body.
Gomi feints a jab promting Savea to slip. Gomi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Savea slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gomi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Gomi looks to land a combination but Savea avoids it well.
Savea gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gomi counters with a left and a right that stings Savea.
Savea fails with a takedown attempt.
Gomi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gomi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Savea at a distance.
Savea shoots and misses
and Gomi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Isaki Gomi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tipi Savea.
Gomi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Savea's head.

Savea is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomi finish him?

Oooooh!!! Gomi has knocked Savea down with a huge combo! Gomi steps away and waves a wobbly Savea back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gomi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Savea is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gomi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Savea.
Savea has his takedown stuffed
and Gomi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gomi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gomi lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Savea can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Gomi and Savea drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Gomi.
