Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sacha Petrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiga Ji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrovich's entrance music is Shunsei. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jiga Ji was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Petrovich.
Petrovich cracks the inside of Ji's front leg.
Sacha Petrovich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ji throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Petrovich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ji uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Petrovich.
Petrovich looks for the body kick but Ji saw that one coming.
Petrovich throws out a leg kick but Ji moves out of range and Petrovich only half commits.

Ji throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Petrovich tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ji is in Petrovich's guard.

Ji escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Petrovich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ji has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Petrovich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Petrovich has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Petrovich wants to control from the top but Ji keeps moving.

Ji is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Petrovich has his hands clasped together but Ji extends an breaks Petrovich's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ji.
