The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Rodriguez. Dai does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dai fails to land the takedown.

Dai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodriguez tries to avoid it but Dai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodriguez to the ground. Rodriguez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dai shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodriguez tries to sprawl out of it but Dai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodriguez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dai manages to get his head free but now Rodriguez has transitioned to an armbar! Dai grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rodriguez! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
