Betoli comes into the arena with Mario theme blaring out of the sound system. Mario Betoli has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasserman throws a series of punches but Betoli avoids them all with ease.
Kasserman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Betoli moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pasquale Kasserman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Betoli. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

A jab-cross combination lands for Kasserman and sends Betoli crashing to the mat! Kasserman follows him down to the mat - Betoli regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Pasquale Kasserman has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Betoli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kasserman tries to avoid it but Betoli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kasserman to the ground. Kasserman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kasserman stuns Betoli with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kasserman jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kasserman dances in with a quick combination. Betoli is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kasserman snaps Betoli's head back. Betoli stumbles backwards against the cage. Kasserman steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Betoli's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Betoli just didn't come prepared.
