The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gouken throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Williams counters with a slapping leg kick.

Williams clinches with his opponent.
Williams is working Gouken over against the cage.
Gouken takes a shot to the head.
Gouken tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Williams lands a nice uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Williams.
Gouken tries to pull guard but Williams holds him up against the cage and eventually Gouken drops back down to his feet.
Williams working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Williams scores with a shoulder strike.
Williams throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A short right from Williams on the inside.
Gouken throws a knee to the head but misses.
Williams lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Gouken is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gouken with a big uppercut! Gouken tries to clinch up but Williams pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gouken to the mat! Gouken covers up and Williams unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
