Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abaka Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch has chosen System of a down- Chop Suey as his entrance music. Abaka Khan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abaka Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeremy Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan rushes Lynch and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lynch blocks the elbow strike.
Lynch takes an elbow to the forehead.


It looks like Jeremy Lynch has been cut.
Khan pushes off an throws an elbow but Lynch leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Khan lands a good knee to the midsection. Lynch won't want to take too many of those.

Khan jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lynch tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard.
Lynchis looking to pass into half guard but Khan pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Khan is in guard.

Lynch is looking for a triangle but Khan pushes his legs off easily.

Khan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and Khan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lynch!

Lynch gets back to half guard.
Khan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Khan stands up and beckons Lynch to join him on the feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lynch is working to avoid the ground and pound but Khan connects with a decent elbow.

Khan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Khan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Khan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Khan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lynch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lynch is looking for a triangle but Khan pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Khan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Khan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Khan wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Khan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lynch is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Khan is in close to Lynch's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lynch has momentary wrist control but Khan slips an elbow through the middle.
Khan stays in close to Lynch's body and controls the position.

Lynch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Khan closes the distance and pushes Lynch back into the cage.

Lynch blocks the elbow strike.

Lynch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Khan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lynch to the mat. Lynch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Khan wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Khan cracks Lynch with a solid left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Khan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Khan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lynch throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Khan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lynch can do to turn this around?
No joy there for Lynch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Khan drives through and clinches with Lynch against the cage.

Khan tightens his grip and picks Lynch up, before dumping him to the ground. Lynch manages to land in guard.
Khan is working Lynch over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Khan wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Lynch is trying to control the position but Khan postures up.
Lynch is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Abaka Khan just wasn't active enough.
Lynch throws a nice looking combination but Khan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lynch misses with a series of wild punches.
Khan tries to clinch up but Lynch circles away and keeps his distance.

Khan wants to clinch up but Lynch keeps it at a distance.

Khan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lynch did well to prevent Khan getting side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lynch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Khan pulls his head out easily.

Khan is working for a submission of some sort.

Khan escapes and gets back to his feet.

Lynch is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Khan off and has taken his back!
Lynch misses with an elbow to the head.
You can see the frustration on Khan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Khan has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Abaka Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lynch is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Khan with him. Khan is trying to defend but Lynch has an arm under the chin now! Khan grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jeremy Lynch!
A relieved looking Jeremy Lynch thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
