The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Moffat.
Scott Moffat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moffat.
Moffat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Moffat. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moffat moves into the clinch.

Slack is trying to trip Moffat. He has hold of a leg but Moffat is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Slack persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Slack working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Moffat is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slack defends well.

Moffat pushes a forearm under Slack's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Slack is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

A determined Scott Moffat didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
