Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amir Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kujo Yoritsune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunham's entrance music is Omar Khairat - Alexandria . A fine choice. Yoritsune has chosen JAPAN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amir Dunham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kujo Yoritsune!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yoritsune throws a right hand that Dunham ducks under and follows up with a left that Dunham also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yoritsune. Dunham does a little dance to reset his feet.

so Dunham counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Dunham postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Yoritsune is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dunham, into his guard.

Dunham wants to hit a switch here but Yoritsune passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dunham there!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yoritsune wants to finish this one by submission but Dunham is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yoritsune.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dunham misses with a takedown attempt - Yoritsune sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dunham swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Yoritsune is now in Dunham's guard. A big mistake from Dunham there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Yoritsune misses with a body shot

and Dunham decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yoritsune's guard.

Dunham is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Yoritsune is looking for a sweep. Dunham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dunham in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Amir Dunham just wasn't active enough.
Dunham uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yoritsune.

Dunham throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoritsune's waist but Yoritsune gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dunham off to one side.

Dunham is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Kujo Yoritsune has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dunham seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yoritsune for as long as he can get away with.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dunham, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
