Cantwin comes into the arena with Whispers In The Dark blaring out of the sound system. Troy Cantwin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alpha Male's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Troy Cantwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alpha Male!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantwin swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Male does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cantwin throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cantwin throws a solid leg kick but Male takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cantwin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Male throws a leg kick but Cantwin checks it.
Male takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Cantwin drives through and clinches with Male against the ropes.
Male is looking to control Cantwin's arms but Cantwin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Male has his back to the ropes.
Male is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.

Male trying to control the position but instead, Cantwin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Male into the ropes.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Alpha Male.
Male throws a leg kick that is checked
and Cantwin counters with a right hand to the body.
Male motions for Cantwin to come forward. Male throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Male moves out of range of the leg kick from Cantwin.
Cantwin blocks a leg kick.
Male misses with a low kick as Cantwin jumps back.

Cantwin takes a swing at Male's ribcage but misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Male throws a leg kick that is checked
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Cantwin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cantwin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Male.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cantwin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Male manages to avoid it.
Male should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Male throws a leg kick but Cantwin sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Cantwin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Male attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Male throws a low kick but Cantwin avoids it.
Male tries to work over Cantwin's front leg with a kick but Cantwin checks it.
Male blocks a low kick nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Cantwin swings for the body but Male moves out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Cantwin blocks the leg kick.
Cantwin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Male moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Male is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Cantwin has denied him.

Cantwin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Male is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Male as Cantwin tries to tie him up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Alpha Male has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Cantwin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
