Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes to the cage accompanied by Biohazard- Punishment. Frank Castle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Castle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Short!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Castle closes the distance and clinches up with Short, looking for a takedown. Castle pushes Short against the cage but Short circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Short enables Castle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Short manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Short throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Castle with a flurry of punches that miss.

Short looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Castle throwing strikes from guard but Short blocks nicely.
Castle wants to control from the top but Short keeps moving.
Short not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Castle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Castle postures up in Short's guard and throws a big left but Short blocks it.
Castle keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Short's head.
Short has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Let's hope that Short has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Castle looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jake Short wasn't active enough on the ground.
Castle shoots in for a takedown but Short shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Castle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Castle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Short pinned against the cage. Short gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Castle is defended easily by Short.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Castle shoots in but Short avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Castle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Short was covering up waiting for the punch and Castle finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Short is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castle defends well.

Short had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Castle defends it easily.
Short avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Short looking to control.
Castle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Castle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Short swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Short works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Short is on top in guard.
Castle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Castle manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Castle postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Short out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Castle goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Frank Castle!
Frank Castle decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
