The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Blunt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Blunt moves into the clinch.
Blunt tries to land a knee to the head but Johnson blocks with his arms.
Blunt is trying to pull guard but Johnson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Blunt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blunt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Blunt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horrible takedown by Blunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.
Dequan Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Blunt.
Blunt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Blunt clinches with his opponent.
Johnson fails to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blunt wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnson won't allow it.
Blunt is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing.

Blunt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Blunt drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Blunt is looking for the KO!

Johnson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blunt lands a huge takedown. Johnson is out but the ref is slow to react and Blunt lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Johnson lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
