The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokkalis thuds a left hand into Insano's body.

Kokkalis moves into range and clinches up with Insano.
Insano tries to throw a body punch but Kokkalis avoids it by throwing Insano back against the cage.

Kokkalis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kokkalis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Kokkalis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Insano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Insano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kokkalis sprawling to the canvas! Kokkalis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Insano finish him?!

Kokkalis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Insano sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kokkalis somewhat.

Insano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

It looks like Felipezoom Insano has been cut.
Insano just misses with a punch to the body.
Insano throws a leg kick but Kokkalis checks it.
Insano thows a left - swing and a miss!

Kokkalis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Insano.
Kokkalis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Good leg kick by Kokkalis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Insano is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kokkalis.

Insano moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kokkalis throws a front kick that sends Insano stumbling back into the cage.
Kokkalis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Insano takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Insano on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
