Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruiner Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnett comes into the arena with canceled forever 125 blaring out of the sound system. Brannigan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jackyl -- The Lumberjack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Barnett.
Barnett throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That kick from Barnett tenderised Brannigan's leg. Brannigan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Brannigan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brannigan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brannigan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnett.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brannigan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barnett to score with a decent uppercut.

The fighters circle momentarily. Barnett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Barnett tries to close the distance and clinch but Brannigan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Barnett has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brannigan uses from the top position.

That was a close round but I would say that Ruiner Barnett will probably get the nod.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Brannigan might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Brannigan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brannigan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ruiner Barnett is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Barnett thuds a left hand into Brannigan's body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Barnett shoots in for a takedown but Brannigan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brannigan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brannigan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brannigan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barnett throws out the jab.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ruiner Barnett.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Barnett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
