Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jung Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson's entrance music is City Wolf - Where Is My Mind . A fine choice. Mark Henderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Henderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jung Sung!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sung cracks the inside of Henderson's front leg.
Henderson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sung finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sung fails with an attempt to clinch.
Henderson looks to land a left hand but Sung moved out of range nicely.
Sung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Henderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Henderson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Henderson keeps the fight on the outside.
Henderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sung circles away.
Nice defenses there by Sung.
Sung fails to land with a series of punches.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sung.
Sung lands with a nice combination. Henderson backs away looking to recover.

Henderson misses the shot to the body.
Sung lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Henderson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Henderson lands a body shot.
Sung tries to clinch there but Henderson circles away.
A combination from Sung does no damage.

Sung looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Henderson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sung.

Sung seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sung is taking a breather. Henderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Henderson wants to control but Sung is keeping busy.
Sung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jung Sung.
Sung moves out of range of the strikes.
Henderson takes a swing at Sung's ribcage but misses.
Sung does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sung lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Henderson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Henderson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sung slips under a jab.
Sung misses with a jab, cross combination.
Henderson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Henderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sung was well out of range. Poor timing from Henderson.
A combination from Sung does no damage.
Sung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Henderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sung throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Sung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Henderson.

Sung closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Henderson's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sung looking to sit in guard and control but Henderson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Henderson wants to pass the guard but Sung is keeping the position.
Sung avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Henderson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sung preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sung manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Henderson manages to get himself to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Henderson keeps control of Sung as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Sung is trying to keep Henderson in close.

Sung has his feet on Henderson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jung Sung hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Henderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sung manages to avoid it.

Sung shoots in looking for a takedown but Henderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sung's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Henderson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Henderson.
Jung Sung is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sung controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Jung Sung comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sung has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
