Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales has chosen Himno Nacional Mexicano as his entrance music. Mike Angelo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Enrique Gonzales's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gonzales jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angelo.
Gonzales pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Angelo back to the cage. Gonzales follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gonzales will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Angelo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gonzales throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck for Angelo with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gonzales gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Angelo tries to free his leg and advance position but Gonzales is retaining full guard.
Gonzales will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Gonzales has his foot on Angelo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Angelo works his way back into a safe position though.

Angelo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gonzales knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Angelo is working to tighten is grip on Gonzales's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gonzales has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Angelo is really squeezing tight and eventually Gonzales passes out! Angelo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
