The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy shoots in for a double leg but Xerex sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hardy fails with the takedown.
Hardy dodges the punch combination from Xerex.
A punch combination from Xerex misses.
Hardy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xerex pinned against the ropes. Xerex gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lincoln Xerex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Hardy.
Hardy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Xerex to the mat! Xerex manages to get full guard.
Xerex on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Xerex tries to get out of the position.

Xerex controls Hardy momentarily but Hardy frees himself.

Hardy lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Xerex! Hardy sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Xerex and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Chad Hardy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
