Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Sieler!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Davis misses with a wild combination.
Sieler tries to clinch up.
Some wild striking there from Davis.
Sieler shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well.

Sieler gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sieler fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sieler looking to throw knees to the head but Davis is blocking nicely.

Sieler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Davis prevents Sieler from getting back to his feet.
Sieler looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Davis content to stall in guard here.

Sieler has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Willy Davis just wasn't active enough.

Davis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Sieler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working.

Sieler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Davis's head.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sieler takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Davis is pushing Sieler up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Davis gets tackled into the ropes by Sieler. Sieler maintains the clinch.
Davis is trying to stall.
Sieler has Davis pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Davis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sieler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Davis walks away with a smile on his face. Sieler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sieler clinches up with Davis and pushes him back against the ropes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sieler can't get the takedown.

Sieler is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Davis to keep the fight standing.

Sieler gets control of Davis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sieler will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Willy Davis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
