The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparring closes the distance and pushes Bukharin back into the cage.

Bukharin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sparring.
Sparring is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bukharin is defending well for now.

Bukharin jumps into guard, dragging Sparring to the mat.
Bukharin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sparring gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sparring knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bukharin on the ground.
Sparring would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sparring trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Bukharin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bukharin is trying for a kimura here. Sparring looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bukharin wins by kimura!
