Morgan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Athrox has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Morgan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Dexter Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morgan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Athrox quickly recovers to half guard.

A very excited looking Pantero Athrox rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
