Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aloe Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera has chosen Remember my NAME! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vera throws a shot from downtown. Goldberg moves away and avoids it.
Goldberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vera was well out of range. Poor timing from Goldberg.
Jab, jab by Vera - just one landing.
A swing and a miss from Vera.
Goldberg shoots for a takedown but Vera saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Goldberg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vera bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goldberg's head backwards.
Goldberg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Goldberg cracks Vera with a right hand to the side of the head.
Vera listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goldberg slips under a jab from Vera.
A big right from Goldberg misses.
Vera throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Goldberg tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vera is in Goldberg's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Vera throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Goldberg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Vera wants to control from the top but Goldberg keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vera looking to hit a scissor sweep but Goldberg is one step ahead there.

Goldberg chips away with some ground and pound.
Vera has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Goldberg doesn't defend quickly enough and Vera has managed to lock this one up! Can Goldberg escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Vera on a fantastic submission victory.
