Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yevgeniy Petrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Smithson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Smithson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Still in half guard, Smithson seems content to control.

Smithson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Petrovich sees it coming and defends easily.

Smithson seems to be looking for submissions.
Smithson is taking a breather. Petrovich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Smithson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Petrovich doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smithson.

Smithson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Petrovich kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Smithson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Petrovich rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Smithson's guard! Nice work there by Petrovich!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smithson is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smithson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Smithson is looking for a kimura but Petrovich is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Smithson to get the leverage.

Smithson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Petrovich has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Smithson looks to throw the jab but Petrovich is out of range.

Smithson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Petrovich drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smithson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Petrovich has Smithson in his guard.

Petrovich can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smithson controls the pace.

Smithson stands and throws Petrovich's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Smithson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smithson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well Smithson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
