The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Askren throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tucker was covering up waiting for the punch and Askren finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tucker tries to lock up and control but Askren gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Askren lands a big shot there that rocks Tucker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Askren connects with a bit shot that sees Tucker covering up! More strikes from Askren and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Askren is our winner by TKO!
