The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantona avoids a kick to the body.
Garcia misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cantona dodges the punch combination from Garcia.

Garcia fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cantona checks it well.

Garcia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cantona regains full guard. Nicely done.
Garcia is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Garcia won't allow Cantona to sweep him here.

Cantona escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Garcia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Garcia is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cantona can't fight it off and eventually Garcia manages to take the fight to the floor. Cantona looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Cantona has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Garcia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cantona had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Garcia is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cantona Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Garcia's back instead.
Garcia breaks Cantona's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
