Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamala Solofa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beta Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peace displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Solofa.
Good leg kick by Solofa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Peace counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Solofa has a hand on Peace's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Peace takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Solofa is looking to improve his position but Peace isn't that keen on the idea.

It looks like Peace might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Solofa is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Peace.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Peace has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Solofa has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Solofa.

Solofa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peace is controlling Solofa's posture.

Peace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Solofa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Solofa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Solofa is trying to control the action in half guard but Peace is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Solofa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peace knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Peace is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Beta Peace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Peace is trying to drag Solofa to the mat but Solofa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Solofa has had enough of the clinch but Peace keeps him there for the moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Beta Peace wasn't active enough on the ground.

Peace tries to pull guard but Solofa holds him up against the cage and eventually Peace drops back down to his feet.
