Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Package (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Redshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Package comes to the cage accompanied by Wait -- Earshot. Redshaw is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ACDC - Skies on Fire. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redshaw tries to clinch
and Package counters with a nice low kick that buckles Redshaw's knee momentarily.
Redshaw closes the distance but Package moves to the side
and Package counters with a straight right hand.
Package connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Redshaw momentarily.

Package tries to keep at a distance but Redshaw has taken the fight into the clinch.
Redshaw misses with an elbow over the top.
Redshaw missing with knees to the body.

Package breaks from the clinch.
Redshaw gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Redshaw lands a nice leg kick that just misses Package's sensitive parts.
Package scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dexter Redshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Redshaw throws a head kick but Package moves out of range.
Redshaw tries to close the distance and clinch but Package swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Redshaw throws out a loose jab but Package uses good head movement to avoid it.
Package does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Redshaw shoots in and drives through. Package sprawls well.

Redshaw on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Package circles away from the clinch attempt.
Redshaw thuds his shin into the meat of Package's side.

With the fighters up against the cage, Redshaw throws an elbow but misses.

Package breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Package throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Package misses with a low kick as Redshaw jumps back.
Package bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Redshaw's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Redshaw throws a sloppy head kick and Package moves out of range easily.
Package throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Redshaw slips a straight right by Package.
Package misses with a lunging right hand

and Redshaw counters by clinching up.

Redshaw has Package pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Package manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Redshaw goes for a takedown attempt but Package pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jack Package has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Redshaw.
Redshaw is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Redshaw takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Package looks to score with a jab to the body but Redshaw is just out of range.

and Redshaw takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Redshaw tries to land a front kick but Package steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Package pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Redshaw tries to land a leg kick but Package saw it coming and moves away.

Redshaw throws a head kick that misses.
Package with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Package connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Package lands a lovely overhand right.

Redshaw is rocked!

Package shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Redshaw is still in real trouble! Can Package finish him?
Redshaw controls Package momentarily but Package frees himself.
Package stays in close to Redshaw's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Package working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Package has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Package postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Redshaw covers up, he's hurt! Package keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Package and the ref steps in to end the fight! Package can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
