Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krooninen Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Cockney Rejects - Go Down Fighting. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Gracie gets a clinch.

Pendragon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gracie looking to score a takedown here. Pendragon is defending well but Gracie drives through and ends up in Pendragon's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pendragon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Pendragon's legs - danger averted.

Gracie distracts Pendragon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie prevents Pendragon from getting back to his feet.

Pendragon can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pendragon is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Gracie lands strikes from half guard.
Pendragon throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Gracie throwing shots but Pendragon is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie stands up and beckons Pendragon to join him on the feet.

Gracie moves into the clinch.

Pendragon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pendragon keeps the fight on the outside.
Pendragon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Krooninen Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zacharius Pendragon.

Pendragon clinches with his opponent.

Pendragon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pendragon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pendragon's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie works over Pendragon with some ground and pound from guard.

Pendragon has an active guard here but Gracie has managed to pass into half guard.

Pendragon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pendragon tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pendragon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gracie landing strikes from the mount and Pendragon is in trouble!
Pendragon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Pendragon is bucking up trying to escape but Gracie cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Pendragon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pendragon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pendragon is looking to escape.
Gracie lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Pendragon is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Pendragon tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Gracie is landing with some decent strikes but Pendragon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Gracie loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Pendragon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gracie land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gracie stands and salutes the crowd.
