The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Oden throws a front kick aimed at Rios's knee but Rios avoids it well.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Oden.
Rios checks a leg kick.

Rios has Oden up against the cage in a clinch.
Oden comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Alex Rios has been cut.
Rios works on Oden's body with a couple of short punches.

Rios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oden throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Oden circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rios checks a leg kick.
Rios throws a one two combo.

Rios closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rios lands a body punch in the clinch.

Rios drops Oden onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Oden is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Oden is rocked!
Oden looks gassed!

Rios breaks the clinch.
Oden is still on wobbly legs! Can Rios finish him?
Rios jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oden wants to slow Rios down by chopping away at his legs.
Oden seems to have recovered his senses.

Rios lands a big right hand that sends Oden crashing to the mat! Rios stays standing though and waves Oden back to his feet!
Rios fails with an attempt to clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Oden checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Rios cracks Oden with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
