Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earth Quake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quake comes to the cage accompanied by PRODIGY - RUN WITH THE WOLVES . Doe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by whatsername, and does she remember my name?. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jon Doe enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earth Quake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 51 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Quake misses the target.
Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Decent striking displayed by Quake there.
Doe throws a head kick but Quake moves out of range.
Quake misses with a left hand
and Doe counters with a head kick. That will keep Quake thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Quake has taken the fight to the clinch.
Quake gets through Doe's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Doe.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quake crunches a lovely knee into Doe's ribcage.
Doe wants to break the clinch but can't.
Doe lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Doe working hard to break the clinch.
Quake's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Doe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Quake tries to clinch but Doe moves out of range.
Quake misses with a few strikes there.
Doe throws a head kick but Quake moves out of range.

and Doe counters with a head kick. That will keep Quake thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Doe counters with a flying knee. Nice.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quake swings widly with a right hand
and Doe counters with a big head kick but Quake shrugs it off.
Quake misses with a lunging right hand
and Doe counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Quake is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Quake darts in trying to clinch
and Doe counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Quake moves into the clinch successfully.
Quake prevents Doe from breaking the clinch.
Doe tries for a takedown. No joy.
Quake is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Doe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Quake tries to clinch there but Doe circles away.
Quake misses the shot to the body.

and Doe counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Quake is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Quake is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doe.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Doe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Doe tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jon Doe will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Quake scores with a leg kick.
Quake tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Doe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quake.
Quake connects with a nice looking jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Quake connects with the punch.
A good leg kick by Quake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quake misses with a kick to the body.
Quake lands a glancing blow to the side of Doe's head.
Doe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quake.
Earth Quake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by Doe misses
and Quake counters with a nice body kick.
Whack! Quake lands a heavy head kick that drops Doe. The ref tackles Quake to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Doe was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Earth Quake!
