Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannibal Lecter has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Perry!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lecter swivels and escapes.

Lecter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Perry is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lecter.

Perry should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Lecter regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Perry.
Perry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Perry bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lecter tries to lock up and control but Perry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Perry can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lecter is looking to escape.
Perry breaks from Lecter's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Perry prevents Lecter from getting the reversal.
Perry pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lecter in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dwayne Perry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Perry rushes Lecter and presses him up against the cage.

Perry has picked Lecter up - he's going for a ride! Perry dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Oh Lecter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lecter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Perry scores with a couple of nice shots.

Perry lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Lecter! More strikes land and this one is all over! Perry jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
